    Our alternative to Superchips??? Hmmmmm

    This sounds VERY promising: http://www.srt8oc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1175

    A snippet of the conversation:

    1. What exactly will you be adjusting in the reflash?

A multitude of things we can alter the whole calibration. Torque management gone. AF adjusted. Timing curves remapped. Shift points especially the 1-2 Fans set to turn on earlier shift pressure ETC.

    2. Additionally, I would assume you will need owners PCM's, so what would the turn around be?

Same day. I am going to offer free next day saver back to you for those who jump in early.

    3. Since most people here will be servicing their Jeeps at dealers, if the dealer decides to do a reflash per TSB, etc... would you reflash it again for free?

Most likely no. I am forced to farm out the flashing to 1 of 3 people in the US outside of DCX themselves that can do this. So I dictate what parameters I want changed. They build the files based on my specifications then Flash my customers PCM's.If I was doing this in house which I will be able to in a few months I of course would do it for free.

    4. Are free updates included?

The initial flash will be just that. Future changes won't be needed unless you make major modifications to your vehicle

    5. Will you offer a DIY reflash setup? If so, will you offer a user tuning?

That is in the pipeline trust me I am working and screaming at everyone that will listen to me. IT IS coming I would guess at least 4-6 months out. The moment handheld flashers are released I will have them and everyone here will know.

As soon as they confirm they can alter the WOT fuel and timing maps, I'm in!!! I want to see 12.7:1 air/fuel ratio at WOT and as much timing as my local 93 octane will support at that ratio....The factory 11.3:1 air/fuel ratio is freakin ridiculous!! I bet there is 20 to 30 HP in the air/fuel ratio with matched timing........

Absolutely, and add to that all the timing that is taken out between shifts. Not to mention the ability we'll have to create a MAP for exisiting mods.
