    Morning Sickness

    All y'all...

Do we have a definitive answer to the awful front end !POP! noise when turning and backing? Seems more likely to occur early in the morning when the car is cold.

What do I tell my service manager?

FYI - beware the rebar pin in parking blocks. If you happen to run up on one, which is bad enough, but survivable... and the pin is not flush, you may rip out a V-shaped piece of your fiberglass fascia. A quarter inch of rebar sticking up was all it took to damage. Hopefully, it won't run. Dealer said they have a kit to repair it. Least I can't see it. ****!

Backing up and turning hard? Could be the extreme camber. Mine does it on imperfect asphalt or wet road, and it can freak you out the first time you feel it.

Also, check the front sway bar end links. Those are known for being loose.

My R/T did that in the cold weather with the SRT Wheels installed.

After the snow tires went on, that noise went away.

Must just be the extreme camber like was already suggested. (20" wheels don't have much rubber to flex to contact the ground)

The Goodyear F1s are known to slip and pop when the wheels are turned hard left or right. The problem gets worse as the tires get colder. I think it was brought up during one of the SRT engineer chats and they basically said, "Yeah we know, no big deal."
