May order a 300C SRT-8 tomorrow

Spoke to a local dealer this afternoon who says they have 3 orders in now. They're estimating an April delivery which I know means absolutely nothing. They say they're selling for sticker and may deal a tad. If everything is legit, I'm going to ORDER with: SRT Option GROUP I and RC7 Radio Equipment. With a $1,000 cash back incentive (if they accept it), invoice is $37,954 and sticker is $39,670.

We'll see what happens tomorrow...... 8)

are we talking about the chrysler or magnum srt-8? either way it's awesome and i hope you're the first to get it and tell us how awesome it is

the msrp of any srt-8 300 is 39995 with destination and the factory is NOT taking specific factory orders, you will buy what ever you can get, not that their is anything wrong with any of that but don't fool your self. they are built however the dealer wants it built but no real factory orders per say if they are selling at sticker call me I'll take all 3 they will one day do any build you want but i hope you are patient very

We'll see what happens tomorrow. I spoke to the salesman briefly over the phone. If they change their tune when I get there, I really don't care. I'll walk away. No biggie. I'll post back tomorrow.

Have done some research since this post. No, I wasn't able to ORDER an '05. DC shut down ordering on 1/18. You probably know this. But there were plenty of 'customer orders' placed with options chosen and most of these people got them at MSRP. There are several people with VINs who are in either BX or D status.

I spoke to a different dealership who has allocation for six '05s and has six sold orders. And they're selling at MSRP. The salesman put me on a list if any of the orders falls through with the customer, and he's guessing out of the six that at least one will. As long as it's silver, it's mine. And it's MSRP. He also said his best guess is that ordering for '06s won't open until March. I'll wait until I hear that folks are receiving their '05s and if after a few weeks I don't hear back FROM the dealer, I'll scrap getting the SRT-8 this year.

So in response to what you originally said..yes, they were orderable with options, yes, they are obtainable at MSRP. It was only a two week ordering window and unfortunately I missed it. Not the end of the world.

You are in New Jersey who are you ordering through i use Autoland on Rt22 to buy alot of my cars did you CHECK with them yet.
I want an SRT-8 but i did not know they were all sold out for 2005.
Is it true they will only build 10,000 cars a year

I don't like the way AutoLand does business. They want your credit rating before you even get through the lobby.

Looks like ordering for the '05s was FROM 1/5 - 1/18 with a few hundred orders. Someone on another board says he ordered one yesterday which I'm curious about. My dealer called me back twice yesterday and said he got 3 more allocations. He's holding one for me and I'm going tomorrow to discuss the details. I'll post back.

Appreciate it. I can't buy another black car. I put waay too much time INTO detailing. They look badder than bad when they're clean but that doesn't last long enough.

So how are you doing order-wise? You able to get back INTO the system?

Any UPDATE on ordering a 300c SRT8 i am lookin INTO ordering a Silver and Black what other exterior colors are there available and when will ordering open for the 2006 models.
