Styling doesn't look too different than the current RT, maybe upgraded wheels and brakes

Agreed! The power and performance is there but the look is the same and subdued. Love it! The prices should be around $36,995. Just like the 300C SRT-8 the styling is a step down looking more like a Magnum V6 model. I always believed the black out headlamps should have been only on the Hemi V8 models. :D

An article I just read in an Oct issue of Motor Trend mentioned that the front grille on the SRT-8 is deeper, ie: more space between the headlights and the front of the bumper. The photos above, although slightly different than those that I saw, suggest the same. I like the subtle differences.

Hmm....I wonder if those are a type of RAM air next to the fog lights......

To quote the article: "Dodge Magnum SRT8 styling is also unique with a body-color grille INSERT with chrome trim, satin-finish front and rear bumper inserts." Am I missing something, or is the grille in the pictures NOT as described? There are many in the forum who would do a better job with the renderings.

More than likely those are brake cooling ducts.

I am Soooooooo disappointed we don't get to see the concept car headlights on the SRT!!!!!!!!!

As for looks, I could do a body kit and wheels that will outdo the SRT. I only need maybe 400hp and bolt-ons will be available soon for that. Plus I get 26 mpg. Makes me feel better about my RT purchase.

I agree, makes me feel real good about the R/T also , insurance rates for the SRT-8 are bound to be higher,

I do dig the grille and how it gives more of a 3D effect. Actually something I've been looking for in the aftermarket. Also I was thinking about cutting the lower valance to make one big opening, but I'm sure I'd run INTO some sort of problem that would make it look horrible.

I think I'll reserve judgement until I've seen pictures of the actual vehicle as opposed to these "artist-renderings". Although I'm sure these will provide some excellent starting places for our own talented Photoshop experts!

Who knows how many styling changes will be made between this version of the concept vehicle, and the one that finally rolls down the assembly line?

You're right, over in the post where DMAG put the full specs it says that those are for routing air to the brakes.

Another thing I just noticed is the pics above SHOW the chrome trim on all four corners where ours just have the indents.

The body kit seems to be the same as one of the kits I've seen here on the site but I can't remember who made it. I love that they got rid of the horizontal bar in the lower front air vent, wish I could get rid of it on the R/T.
