In a Magnum SRT8? I took a look the other day and the styrofoam compartment under the cargo area organizer didnt look big enough to hold the entire Kicker and also allow the organizer lie flush on top of the styrofoam (as it does without the Kicker). Maybe the Kicker housing is designed to be separated into two parts. Any ideas? Do you have a photo of a Magnum SRT8 with the Kicker under the organizer?

That is the position the Kicker is in when you buy the car, but many of us dont want a big ol' subwoofer cutting one side of the cargo area (when the back seats are down) in half. The rumor in the LXForums is that the Kicker can be stored under the removable cargo area organizer, and there appears to be a styrofoam "kicker holder" under the cargo area organizer with a corresponding shape, but the holder does not appear to be deep enough to allow the organizer to be put back in its original position. Maybe that is by design, and you have to permanently remove the cargo organizer to move the Kicker into the "secret spot," but I'd like a definative answer before I replace the thing with a specialty sub from JL Audio. They are designing a sub to fit in one of the side compartments in the cargo area (due early 2006).

My Mag SRT has a styrofoam thing sittin' in the rear well.
I don't know what it's for.
I do not have the Kicker...I woulda liked it, just couldn't find one in Silver.
