I had ask them yesterday to perform the TCM tsb...any PCM tsb's I wanted the brake rotors replaced with the slotted rotor's ,an oil change and anything they think it might need...Well I drooped it off at 4:00pm lats nite and they called me at 3:00pm today to come get it she's all finished....Now if anyone knows me im am the most pickest person in the world when it comes to leaving my car well came back perfect just like i left it.....The Brakes are cool looking as far as brake dust i really cant tell because the rims where dirty when dropped off iwill be cleaning them tonite and post back on that one....Now onto the TCM flash all im going to say is WOW.... The second i rolled away with the esp on the car barked the rear tires, way harder shifts seems faster too...I put it in autostick mode BAM 6100 or so right into 2nd no delay...so far im loving the TCM flash...I will post more later on when i go for a spin..If anyone is not thinking of getting it you might think again......

Did exactly this. Got the flash, got the slotted rotors and had my oil changed. It runs like the devil! I love it.

I've had it in since the release day (good timing as I was scheduled for an oil change) and really didn't get a chance to thrash it that day 'cause of the rain, but it seemed good. But the more I'm driving it, the more I'm lovin' it. Need to get to a track now...

I had the flash done on Tuesday- the wife drove the car today for the first time after having it done. She said she went to pass someone on the highway and hit 110 without trying- at all! She we very impressed by the difference the programming made (she'd notice even more than me since she drives it daily). I like how there's no more lag in any gear- the power is always "connected". Glad to see that they fixed this and the rotor issues- now all we need is some of those low-dust pads and we'll be good to go!

Now you need to hook your local buddy up with that connection of yours, hint-hint. I need the TSB on the shift problem, rotors and oil squirters that make the engine noise. Lunch is on me. Double-double special with fried apple pie sound good?

Yes I have. If you lose traction, you are going to lose to a Honda Civic with an SRT-8. It will shift into 2nd and you will be watching tail lights.

    Hey Jaak,

I assume you went to Eastway for the TSB. Did you get any other updates done (like the oil squirter TSB) or just the TCM? What was the turn-around time for the service.

    Thanks!

    - Glen

PS....put the AirHammer on today.....a little snug fit with my new hood but awesome! A little louder than the Mopar and feels good. Quality piece of work...thanks Rev!

I assume, before the flash, you always launched in 1 st, pedaled it if you lost traction and manually shifted into second without hitting the rev limiter. I tried that a few times but was was rarely successful on the 1-2 shift so I launch in "D". When I lose traction in "D" and it shifts early to second, I usually see tail lights any way. Lessor of two evils.

Just a regular oil change and the TCM. TAT was a couple of hours at the outside I'd guess, but I wasn't rushing them... They have wireless there available, so you can take a laptop and do some work at the bench they have set up, specifically for that.

Now that I know the noise is normal, it doesn't disturb me... If anything, it makes people wonder what's different about the engine.

Why not just leave it in D like we all did....bouncing off a limter isnt going to give you a better ET...I will race this now like i did my 2005 R/T i will in in Autostick mode let it shift at the determined rpm set...If that doesnt work i will use D again...For me this Flash is great im planning on running Nitrous anyways i dont want to hit the Rev limter while squirting that wouldnt be good for the motor...So IMHO i think the flash was a great move for me......
