You guys are impressive. I was happy to get this car at age 25, and I put no money down. Then again, everybody has their own circumstances and everyone has their own idea of how to invest, spend, and go into debt!

Me, my strategy has always involved the mantra of, "if you can borrow at 6% interest and invest at 12% return, then borrow and invest as much as you can!"

Good debt is the American way! How do you guys do things up in Canada, anyway? :-)

I hate to burst your bubble but if all goes well, I'll have an SRT-8 Mag as my first car when I turn 16 and get my license...

And you call yourself a "Senior Member"? LOL. An SRT-8 at age 16... if there was ever a case for increasing the driving age to 18, there it is, folks!

    1. Wear your seatbelt.
    2. Turn down the stereo.
    3. Don't drive with your dumbass friends (you know who they are).
    4. Pray that you make it more than a year without an accident.

I would say "drive slow", but that's impossible in an SRT-8, so I'll be praying for you, too!

I'm always gonna make sure everyone in my car is wearing a seatbelt whenever possible. I'm a good driver and I've got good judgement... I know when it's okay to drive fast. I'm sure my stereo is gonna be fairly loud at times but I won't go crazy.

I've driven a Mustang GT and a Magnum RT... I didn't have any problems driving either of them safely...

A 20 year old 1965 Coronet 440, 2-door hardtop. 440 Magnum transplant. All from my neighborhood junkyard. Once I knew enough to get it running, I could drive it.

My first car was a gunmetal gray 1987 Cutlass Sierra GT. I guess it could have been worse, but not by much...

The cool thing is that no matter what your first car is, you love it just the same. I would have REALLY loved my first car if it was an SRT-8, though.
