I placed my order for a new Magnum SRT-8 yesterday

But Dealer wants to make me their bitch! My God man.

I own 4 Dodges bought from the same freaking dealership, and 3 other members of my family has bought from same dealership. But the freaking place changes ownership more than I change vehicles, they are now under new management as of few months ago.

Anyway, my deal with them has always been consistent, I pay $500 over invoice, plus I get whatever rebate is being offered.

Placed my order for my inferno red SRT-8, got my VON#, blah blah. Came back home and listen to the wifeys complain about how much money I waste on cars, blah blah.

My phone rings, and the same sales person I have been dealing with forever, and has been treating me great forever is on the phone line, tells me his new management wants me to pay $6800 over MSRP. Now now, I intend to pay under $41,000, they intend to fleece me out of $49,500.00 American Dollars!

I guess I'm going to be joining dzking on that sweet deal he made with his dealership and my dealership can kiss my business goodbye!

    that sucks...

hope you can find one for MSRP... probably going to be a longshot though...

i had this same problem when the Evolution VIII came out in 2003... i ended up paying $2000 over MSRP... it was worth it in the end though... :-)

Thanks Diesel. There is a fella on the forum here DZKing that just bought one for $1000 over invoice. I will see if I can tag along with him on his deal.

i always find it interesting when bidness owners don't want to make money.
I guess failure feels better when they know they didn't try very hard.
