HHP TCM,HEAT TCM vs TSB??

Hey guys I know we have a million threads on the tranny crap now but I haven't seen this addressed.

According to most the Heat and HHP TCM's are a Dodge part that got lost some where and just got discovered.

So my question is how do they all compare, what software versions are they??

I bought the HHP stage 2 for the reduced TQ management and raised stall more than any thing else. Will the TSB give me the same effects??

If not I don't think I will bother getting the TSB done, I will just get the new TCM encoded and try that.

Don't know about Heat, HHP or the TSB so obviously I can't comment on them, but I sure love GSM's stage 2! Happy New Year everyone!

I don't have any exposure to the aftermarket TCM's, but I do like the TSB alot!! Oh and I did stay at a Holiday Inn express lastweek..so it is wearing off

One question LT1 do you want it shifting for you in manual? If not run away, but if you do I'll trade you TCM's you can take this turd off my hands. The Tranny-Nanny gets a big thumbs down, any benifit it gives is totally negated IMO by taking away the second coolest thing on our cars. 1st is the 425hp HEMI, second was a albeit slow but manual option transmission. Now it is a full rpm automatic shifter in manual.

I'm currently test driving the HHP stage 2 TCM, it sounds alot like the TSB. But to compare HHP is going to swap in my old TCM and do the TSB so we will see the true difference. Will up date when this happens.

I think it does. I heard it is basically the AJ version (new flash is AK) of the stock TCM.

It works good in my R/T and at the time I bought it they said it worked better on the SRT's and that was before the Stage 2 came out that changed the autostick feature so I figure it would have the hold in autostick

Why is this so tough... why in the world would any of us want it to shift when in manual? Doesn't anyone like twisties using engine braking?

Give us harder shifts that don't toss us through the windshield when in auto, and fast hard shifts when we are in manual.

If anyone is really programming these things why is that so dificult?
