    Here's the Kicker...

No Kicker. After constantly having the build date pushed back on the car I ordered in May, I finally said "screw it" and browsed on dodge.com and found one close to what I ordered, close enough to home.

It was sitting in the showroom all nice & pretty. It had group I & II and the sunroof...that was enough for me. I vowed I was driving that thing home.

    So far...I'm in love...

I feel for what you went through Hogan....I am still waiting it out on my 06 AWD Magnum RT. I wish I could have done the same and found a 05 AWD with most of the options...however, no luck so I am still sticking it out....Enjoy your new LX purchase...show us a few pictures of you new toy!

Guess I was so geeked I forgot some pertinent info.

    Magnum SRT. Silver.

I love the way this thing pulls. I may be even more impressed by the brakes.

Can't figure out how to open the gas door though....

Holey smoley that's sweet. Congrats. Gently push on the front and the back part will swing out. I guess I would have known had I checked which forum you posted in, instead of just hitting new posts.

YEAH!!!! Someone got an SRT-8 in a different color!!!! Congrats.

If you can solve your problem, then what is the need of worrying? If you cannot solve it, then what is the use of worrying?

I just searched new vehicles by zip code, went to each listed dealer and searched under Magnum. If they had any SRT's in stock, they were the most $$$

Hell...they even post the window sticker!

I did notice that day to day the inventory on them was changing...that's why I moved rather quickly.

I'm glad I did, cause this car simply rocks.

Got the Bluetooth set up, along with the Sirius sat radio activated...still trying to work the Navigation smoothly.

Now how do I sign up for that track day? :-)

Is that a '66 chevy II parked behind the SRT8? If it is yours, do tell. My pop spent 12 years restoring one that some kids tried to turn into a drag racer. 350, 2 4bbl carbs and a ford 9 inch rear end for 4 wheel disc brakes. Ive always liked those little novas.

    Yeah...that's a little '66 Nova wagon. 283... 3 on the tree.

Bone stock. I don't have the heart to start cuttin' into it. Runs like a jewel. A 40 year old jewel...but it's stone cold dependable.

Smells a little mouldy inside though...:-?

    I never thought I'd have a station wagon...now I got two.

The Nova has to go though...I need the parking space.
