    Got into the 12's again! With just a stock 300c SRT-8 w:CAI & MagnaFlows

I hit the 12's again today!!! I cannot say enough times that I love this car. Amazing how many people walk up continuously to ask what I have done to it and what kind of blower/Supercharger/NOS setup I am running. They are blown away to learn it is just stock with Mopar CAI and a MagnaFlow exhaust.

Here are my runs for today. (The last run was done with a completely heat soaked engine)

    Stats:
    Time EDT - Date ----- Temp ------ DewPnt - Pres Inches(hPa) - Wind MPH
    6 PM (22) - Oct 22 - 55.9 (13.3) - 41.0 (5.0) - 29.84 (1010) ----- NW 6
    5 PM (21) - Oct 22 - 55.9 (13.3) - 41.0 (5.0) - 29.82 (1009) ----- WNW 9
    4 PM (20) - Oct 22 - 55.9 (13.3) - 39.9 (4.4) - 29.82 (1009) ----- WNW 9
    3 PM (19) - Oct 22 - 57.0 (13.9) - 39.0 (3.9) - 29.82 (1009) ----- WNW 14
    2 PM (18) - Oct 22 - 57.0 (13.9) - 39.9 (4.4) - 29.83 (1010) ----- NW 15

Wow! I should have stepped up and bought an SRT8. Nice work, now go beat up on some GTO's.

IT is just as I thought. If you can get your 60' less than 2.0seconds, it will be a 12 second run!! I wonder what these cars would do with slicks and very little torque management? Lets see who is the first to try it with a car that has the three way ESP. With the mph that these cars trap at, they should be a mid twelve with a good launch! Cant wait to bring mine to a track. Opps, forgot to mention all runs were with the GSM torque and fan mod enabled... I also had a run above 2.x RT with a 12.93x 1/4 mile time.

I think the lower times are going to be reached quicker with the power adds being a higher gear ratio in the rear and a slightly higher Stall converter.

i cant believe how quick the srt8s are. a full second quicker than the RTs :(. nice job though! do you think you can get lower 60's as it is? do you just need more power or do you think it is the computer? 110 mph for a car that heavy is just insane.

how come only 2 runs are 110 mph? the others are 108 (and last weeks too)? same ETs though.

Graph the power curves on the same graph and you see why. It is not just about the 75-85HP increase, but how long the 6.1 holds those higher levels in the RPM range.

WOW...110MPH... That rocks! Very, Very impressive! I gotta bring up the point though, why are you hitting pretty consistent 1.9 short times and the rest of us dorks in RT's can't touch that? Because the damn ECU/PCM/WHATEVER uberlord control is kiling us, thats why! Sorry, I'm fed up with this dumbass computer system, no strikes against you! Again, VERY cool dude!

Thanks everyone. The reaction time is probably being helped by a good street tire burn out and the GSM mod. My Silver SRT-8 shift changes at 6250 to 6400 and has at WOT since I got it. My Black SRT-8 got the trani TSB and I have not had a chance to check how that impacted the trani shifts. I'll need to take it out after the rain stops and will post up some shift points.

Might have something to do with the SRT-8s having better gears. 3.06 for the SRT, as opposed to 2.82 for the R/T.
