Is this a good deal on a used SRT8 Mag

My local dealer called me to tell me he got a slightly used Black SRT8 mag in on a trade for a Viper. It has option group 1 & 3, side airbags and sun roof.
Mileage is 606 and they are asking 39,990.....thoughts??
I am going there tomorrow for a test drive and I also asked to see a car fax to make sure this has not been in an water as the guy drove it from Fla to omaha for the trade..

I have the exact same car, bought it in Detroit last Thursday for $38,700.. 16 miles same options..

MSRP was $42,700 I think, so that is some off a pretty hot car.. I would say go for it if CARFAX comes back OK

I say it's used and the seller surely took more than a $4000 loss on it. Doesn't seem like that great a deal to me. If it were me, I'd get a new one for that amount of difference just to have peace of mind...

I'm with MagnumSXT. You should be able to get a new one for that withh all the options, warranty etc.

Of course, if you are in a hurry, just offer him 4k less and see what he comes back with.
