A Good Deal or Not?

Talked to a dealer today that has 2, 2006 SRT8's due to arrive in a couple weeks. They are identical, and have option 1, option2, and option 3, which according to the dealer, means they are fully loaded.

Quoted me $41,500. Is this at least "decent"?

What color? Is that MSRP? Sounds awfully good and tempting.

Accoding to the Dodge website, I built a SRT-8 with just those 3 options and the MSRP was $41,740. If you add the sunroof it comes to 42,690 MSRP. It looks like he is giving you somewhat of a good deal. But only 240 less than MSRP with out sunroof is not that great. But it looks better if it has the sunroof.

I just finalized a deal for an SRT8 with every option (groups I, II & III, sunroof and the supplemental side air bags) from a dealer in NJ. I negotiated a price of $41,500 out the door, I will have to pay sales tax when I register it in my state (MD). Considering this was the only SRT8 I could find in a 300 mile radius I happy with this price. It is black and I get it on Saturday, I can't wait!! I currently drive an Interpid R/T and I am expecting a big boost in performance.

What I want is an Inferno Red SRT-8 with the power sun roof, which has an MSRP of $39,170. I would assume a discounted price of around $38,000.

I don't really want or need options 1, 2, & 3. I wonder if such an SRT-8 exists ?
