Buying ported heads off ebay is very risky. I'm sure these guys do a fine job but here's my concerns:

    1) Flow is listed, but not as a comparison to stock flow with unported heads. Why?
    2) Flow numbers are quoted at .600 lift (is our stock cam .600 lift or higher?) What are the flow numbers throughout the range?
    3) "Increase horsepower" is mentioned, what HP at what RPM on what dyno?
    4) "This price won't last long", what's your hurry? Why not just offer a quality product at a fair price, ipso facto creating value. Why resort to the flea market tactics?
    5) Where's the mention of how long they've been in business? How long they've been porting heads? Customers cars, etc?

Again, not accusing just suggesting some better ways to market performance parts.

When there's $1,700 at stake I need more than a little reassurance.

These are from the same guy who posted that he has CNC ported heads for the 6.1 and 5.7 a while back and hasn't been here since. I did a little research about this company (Heat performance) and found out that they have are heavy into modifying the hemi trucks. Their website leaves alot to be desired and it took a while before I got a response to my email. They have a pretty good rep over on the dodgetruckworld forum, but little to no experience on the LX platform. His forum name is stu.

is the stu guy the same? i mean, i know kelly. he is living here in houston. actually katy texas.

i know he used to work for mti some years ago. knows his stuff well. knows mopars also. people questioned his 6.1 crate motors about a year ago also. he did have em tho. has conections in the market. im not sure where or who.

he deals in used small block mopar parts alot. race spec stuff. if yall have any questions, i can get with him and have him contact you.

i think the business heat, is new. something they just got rolling to get these cars moving.

you want a good set of heads? got a dollar or two to spend? shoot me mail offline. i have conetctions also that are interested in this market. they wont be cnc ported btw. i never cared for cnc stuff.
