Slap a blower on these and wait to put them in the shop. In case you have not noticed, the blown 5.7's ain't been doin' too good. Loads of problems.
Ask me about my Lemon Dodge Charger. Last time in the shop was approx 41 days and it is still not fixed!

Sweet numbers! I am going to have to get mine to a dyno soon. At 11158 kms I think it is broken in completely now. And it is a beast now, you can definitely tell the increase in power now that she has loosened up completely. With the cold weather it is awesome how it lights up the tires at 30mph through redline in first gear. People cant believe that it is a station wagon that is lighting up its tires the way that it does.

okay okay, a dumb question -- how do you light 'em up at 30mph? are you in autostick and just floor it, or does it chirp on the 1-2 shift?

I live in Windsor, Ontario(that is Canada not California). If I am in 1st in auto stick and I nail the throttle when it is 55* or cooler, it will spin the tires as it accelerates all the way to redline. If it is warmer, it may or may not do so...If I nail it while in automatic, it may or may not, depending on how firmly it allows the gear to engage after the downshift. Cant anyone else get wheelspin on a roll? You just have to really nail the throttle to the floor

Okay, got time for another dumb question?

I thought the 425HP spec was at the rear wheels for the SRT8 but judging by the way everyone is jumping up and down about 378.1 I guess not?

Or am I just completely stupid? (Rhetorical, please don't answer that )

    Cheers
    FrankO

    PS Please be kind!

Nope, the advertised horsepower is at the flywheel. Not saying it wouldn't be sweet if it was rear wheel horsepower... ;-)
