What's your MPH Gain over stock with your mods in the 8th and Quarter??
Now have a Mustang or Dyno-Dynamics, or even a DynaPac conservative number which is real world,, and put down some strong numbers say 435rwhp like others claim for their ported parts and exhaust,, then you'd truly see a much higher trap speed, as apposed to a shop guy saying the dyno made more and your azz felt more,,,so you said it was much better and you were happy,,now that your car is SLower due to driving error or inexperience, now your suppose to be happy..... HP shows up in mph, irregardless of traction,,unless your a complete novice and do a 1/8 mile smokin burnout.
I've seen street tired mustangs run low 12's on goodyears and trap 128mph,,,cause they were making power and alot of it.... I have yet to see a honest to goodness Supercharged SRT8 on pump Gas make a pass over 120mph...on street tires. If your stock trap speeds are say 108 or 109 and you add say 150 rwhp you should gain at least 10mph in trap speed and really More if your truly making an Additional 150rwhp.... NOT merely 4 or 6 more mph, on a inconsistant basis, that runs strong maybe every other run... MPH = True HP at the wheels
I'd rather have true numbers that tell me how strong my car really is, so when i get to the track i can see everytime, a strong Mph improvement,,, and practice will bring E.T. down to match the HP...
Hell the Mercedes SLR McClaren makes over 600hp and over 700lbs/tq and traps almost 128mph with an 11.6 E.T. on street tires... Stock and it weighs over 3800lbs... yet more Aerodynamic than a brick....
