Delay for GSM Mods

Damn it, I am have to delay my appointment with GSM for at least a week.

On my return trip from Phoenix to Albuquerque I discovered that the power assist to the steering stopped working. Yes, I now have Popeye arms. lol

I dropped the car off to my service manager this morning and he had to order a bunch of parts for the power assist. Parts will not arrive to the dealer until the 8th... With a little luck, they will get the parts and have repaired before the 11th. Then I can make the trek to SoCal a let the modding begin.

That sucks but at least it's covered.

Let me know if you happen through Tucson on your way to SoCal.

Sorry Mark, Tucson is about three hours out of the way...No worries though, maybe I will make an overnight this summer to Tucson.At least go down to the track in Roswell, NM... Gotta race them flying saucers. lol

It went out completely after I left you Sunday.... When you saw it, it came right back on and all was good.... Went out at the first mountain run outside of Phoenix.... Scared the crap out of me and Maureen.

Hennessey posted that the MSRT8 they played with also had power steering issues after some 'aggressive' driving. I think he mentioned they where coming up with a better power steering cooler for this. You may want to contact them and see if this happened.

Thanks for the very interesting information.... hmmmm. I will definitely check that out, but I am curious as to what the dealer is replacing first...
