    Question Dealership help

I need some advice. I bought my car out of state so I'm not close to the dealer I bought it from. The nearest dealer to me is smaller and they don't sell SRT's. I'm I able to take my car there if and when I need some work done? I will be doing the maintance work myself like oil and tires. but what do I do when there's a recall on something or warranty work to be done?

Even if they don't sell them, their mechanics should be able to maintain them, atleast the basics. Of course if they aren't working on them daily, they might be touch and go for knowledge of what they are supposed to be doing

There is a bigger dealer that I pass on my way to work that I know they sell SRT's. But I have also heard from others that their service department is very clueless and not very reliable. Would I be better off going there or to the smaller dealer?

I would go to both service departments with some TSB#'s that you have found out about on this site and ask them if they apply to your car? If they act ignorant then walk away.

One thing I am pretty sure of though, is that being a 5 star dealer is a big deal. I think they get better deals and a better selection of cars to sell too. They have to earn points from customer surveys to keep 5* status. This also applies to the service dept. Also, I believe almost all SRT vehicle go thru 5* dealers, so it makes sense to me to find one. Of course, on the contrary, we have all read about some complete muppets of dealers on this site too, so unless you get a personal recommendation you're pretty much on your own. But good luck and let us know.

Thank god for First TEAM Dodge. They sponsored our M&G about two months ago and those folks were great! I know I own a Chrysler but I can't imagine bringing my vehicle to ANYONE else.
