Considering charger srt8 2007

Hi all, cts-v owner here needing to go to an auto and was considering the charger. First car 30 years ago was a Dodge. Anyway, is there a difference in the 06 and 07? What are the quirks with the srt8 if any? Looks like it has the V car beat in the 1/4 by a little. Any advice you can give me like tsb's or negotiating w/ the dealers and so on would be greatly appreciated.
PS. Any pros and cons with the srt8 or a good thread to go to would be great.

You could probably get a great deal on a 2006!

And of course, you'll pay gas guzzler tax on the charger, but if you have a cts-v you're probably used to that.

No gg tax on magnums! :-)

I have an 07. Main diffs are the tranny shifts by itself at redline while in manual mode. Other than that, they either don't come with shock tower covers or I got screwed.
