According to the Skip Barber school of last year, the Corsa tested the best of all the exhausts they tried. The cars that they modify only get the Corsa. This is true with many Corvette clubs as well. But I'm not sure which ones were in the group. I can say this, after switching to Corsa after the JBA...I believe their claims. The Corsa (Mopar) is the only one I've seen that is true straight through design. No baffles, and NO filling in the resonators or mufflers. Not sure how they tamed the drone, but they did it......
The Borla exhausts over the years have a good reputation. But I'm guessing he switched for a reason. Drone/noise is my guess.

I'm pretty sure i know why he changed. I have that exact system and it is quiet with a capital Q. It does make more power that I can feel, but it is too stock-sounding for most. Even I was surprised on how tame it is. The good part is that it does sound REAL good at WOT. Not high pitched or raspy like some....just real deep V8 growl. The Borla also uses 2.5" pipe which turns some people off. Pipe size didn't bother me, as 2.5" is plenty for the 6.1. Another member dynoed his ride at 390 RWHP with the same mods I have. I've attached a sound clip. Bottom line, if you want a rumble at idle and cruise, this is NOT the system for you.
