Talk to Jeremy at Power Ported he'll explain it all to you, and from all the peopl e here who have it, its an awesome mod.
I don't mind, have you seen the thread where B&G stage 2 ONLY (no cat back or intake) made a nice hp/trq gain at the wheels? #'s are impressive for a tune alone
Leesburg...you west of richmond? Maybe you can make it to the M&G in southern md in april, check out the regional area for info. If you want to check it out sooner, I think you'll have to make your way up here
pm me, we'll talk

Is this the thread?
Does B&G Flash really work?
Leesurg is 37 miles west of DC.....
I'm in the same boat as you and I also read that whole thread. They seem to think that the B&G will improve your 1/4 mile times regardless of other mods. My thinking is that if I'm going to spend $1000+/- on a new ecu, B&G and shipping I should just hold out a little longer and then do the PP heads and Cam 1st. Just my .02 cents. On the other hand if the B&G improves performance alone its removable when you go to the dealership, although if they really start sniffing they will be able to see that the ECU has been changed around, recorded mileage will not match, max engine revs will not match etc. they would also have to sniff pretty hard to find a non loopy cam and a set of PP heads.
I installed my B&G II yesterday..
After Drivin around for a while, I imidiatly noticed that the Shifts got Firmer And my 1st gear Improved alot...
I'm Luvin the B&G Flash![]()
My Mods are CAI and MagnaFlow Cats..
My experience with stage II flash(I have had 3 now): (1) Improves overall driver feel, reduced TM,better shifts,1st gear WOT,rev limit, etc. (2) On stock motor-no improvement in 1/4 ET. (3) A Must have for cams, perserves idle quality and wakes it up. This is my take on it installed in my JEEP SRT8, but every car/truck may respond differently-I have seen that as well. All-in-all, if you get it, you'll be ready for just about anything you can throw at it, aside from blowers/tubros.
2006 GC SRT8(12.98@105.3-stock)-SOLD
I'll place money that you'll see more of difference with just the B&G vs. just intake and exhaust. If you really want to make it work, you'll need to get the intake and exhaust when your budget allows.
(Waiting "patiently" for the 300C SRT8 8-speed) Coming.....soon?
DO IT....DO IT....DO IT.... It is worth it...![]()
