Autostick Troubles?

I have almost 500miles on my csrt-8 so I thought I would see what she will do. I noticed that when in autostick fisrt gear it will shift automatically upto second gear. I tried it three time even with the esp off, every time it will upshift to second at 5900rpm. whats up? Is this a program issue or a tranny issue does it need a flash?

IIRC, all '07 & newer SRT8s will force an upshift at redline in autostick.

Yep, my '07 SRT Charger auto-shifts. Personally, I like it...I have a little more control of what gear I'm in, and don't have to watch the tach closely if I decide to put the hammer down

Ain't brave enough yet to use the auto stick in my 06 Mag SRT8... only has 2700 miles and kinda taking it a little easy............. SO FAR.......

That is disapointing, the owners manual even says it will not upshift.

I am not sure about 08's, but Diablo allows me to choose this on my early 06.

Personally, I despise the auto upshift, as I want to be able to hold the gear.

Guess I don't understand the downside to the auto upshift. I have an 06 that doesn't btu I'm thinking about getting the TSB done that "fixes" this. Seems to me that if you're redlining in 1st gear you kinda need to upshift anyway.
