    Anyone looking for 300C SRT-8?

I've been emailing all of our dealers around the San Francisco and Sacramento areas looking for a Magnum SRT-8.

I've had SOME luck but strangely enough I had one dealer call me back and say that while they aren't yet taking orders for Magnums he does have 2 300C SRT-8s on the lot. I made it really clear in my email that I was only interested in a vehicle at MSRP so, if he listened to me, it is possible that these things can be picked up with no added dealer mark up.

PM me if interested. I'll respond with the salesman's name and number to the first 2 PMs. If either of the first 2 don't purchase I'll respond to the rest. I don't want to respond to ALL the PM so that there isn't a ton of "new" interest in the car at the dealership causing a price change!

Well, I'm sure a salesman would never mislead you.

It has been my experience that internet sales guys are better than the showroom salesmen.

Attitudes are contagious. Mine might kill you.

I don't know. I just got a followup from the sales guy and now the 300C SRT-8s are "coming in" and mark up is undecided.

Now this could possibly be a slight misunderstanding on the meaning of we "have" 2 300C SRT-8s. And wanting to speak in person might explain why he didn't say that the dealer markup, if any, is undecided but....

Check out this quote: "If your friends come in off of this e-mail, it will be easier to convince him not to mark it up. Thanks again, and have a good day."

Yeah, I've never heard of anyone saying that more demand will help them "convince" the GM not to mark the car up.

Well. It looks like this myth was busted. Sorry, I hate to have my first posting here be incorrect but...

If anyone is still interested I'll be happy to pass the info on but it doesn't look nearly as promising as I had initially thought.
