    Angel/Demon Eye Mod?

I'm debating these. Anyone with experience installing these? The website claims 4 hours, so it sounds/looks fairly involved. Just curious. Do these look and perform as claimed? Thanks again.

Coolvanilla, Redfox, Lowriderman... you could probably ask AAC for a copy of the installation instructions to evaluate whether or not it's something you want to tackle, too.

And then post the instructions for all to view.

Well, the Mayans and other Soothsayers were right, the end has begun.

Great advice. I'm pretty good at the mechanical side of things. I've done headers, exhaust, CAI's, brakes, PCM swaps and I've also had the front bumper cover off so none of that scares me.

I did hear that the lights are "baked in the oven" to break them apart. That's was scares me.

I was with Slim, when he baked his lights. I was amazed at how easy it really was. Getting them apart was a piece of cake. The real bitch is, when you try to get the old glue out of the groove that goes all the way around the lights. Took alot of digging and prying. Check out this thread!

Also be very careful if you do this, because the rings will easily break.

Do the rings break during install or post-install?

During install...I did not do mine on the Magnum, but I did them on my Nissan Altima, and broke one from the get go. Just have to be very careful and you will be OK!

I installed a couple of sets on some BMW X5's, pretty much the same install. Not too difficult, just time consuming cause you don't want to f'k things up. The rings will break during install if anything. They make a very distinct "bink" when they break, which is followed immediately by an "oh sh!t!", "son of a....", and just about every other phrase you can think of. Fortunately, replacement rings are only about $25. If I can get my butt motivated once the Charger gets back home, I'll actually install mine and post the steps with pictures. If I remember, maybe even a video?
If there is anyone in/around Chicago that wants to hang out and listen to me get yelled at for baking my headlights in the oven...send me a PM and maybe make a mod day out of it or something. BTW....anyone know the easiest way to get the bumper off to access the headlights?
    Sorry for the .

The front bumper cover was not bad at all. Just remove the screws under the chin spoiler, a few in the wheel well and then the fasteners along the top edge where you close the hood. (assuming that the charger/300 are the same) Then you just pull. You have to pull MUCH harder than you think, in fact I kept checking to ensure I'd removed all the fasteners. Sure enough though, once you get it started, it comes right off. Remember to lay down an old blanket or something soft to set it down on.

Looking at the chrome rims now. Can't do both at the same time. $1K bucks on the wheels is a large capital expenditure and our CFO is less than inclined to approve both. I believe the wheels will give me a better return on invested capital and we'll hold off on the demon eyes for now.

Just bought the wheels off ebay. Just under $1K. LA-Tire and wheel. Can't wait to see them.
