    6.1 hemi

There are posts regarding fuel milage for str-8 is the 6.1 a multi displacement as well as the 5.7? this should help but really 425 horsepower if you can buy one who cares about milage ? But if you think about it we have come a long way if there is a 425 horsepower hemi in a luxury sedan that is made to drive to work every day How cool is that 8)

But with no bigger tank and premium fuel. I couldn't imagine making the trips to the pump.

I saw the car and driver 300 srt-8 article did they take off the engine cover for the photo or does it not have one the intake looks like the 318 magnum barrel intake .it should have a cover but without it you can see the valve covers.

The Grand Cherokee will get the SRT treatment with the 6.1 liter engine too.

Hey GN...nope not one really suitable for the task BUT Tremec makes a dandy 6-speed that would be VERY easy to adapt in mechanically!
    I LOVE the idea!!
