Talking 4 lb. torque increase MOD

Last night I had a dyno with my CSRT8 with two pulls:

One with a relocated IAT SENSOR to underneath the the air intake where it is cooler...381.07 hp...393.31 Torque

Second with IAT back to stock...381.00 hp...388.98 Torque.......

    My mods are:
    -Afe stage2
    -Magnaflow high flow cats

I will try to post the Dyno Sheet..I will try to figure it out

Did ya run more than a single pull for each configuration? After watching 200+ pulls of these cars (many of which were SRTs) it doesn't surprise me at all to see this variance. I'd be shocked if it was actually due to the relocation.

Either way, nice numbers on the dyno there! Lookin forward to seeing them curves!

Doesn't mean squat untill you drive it in each location to let the adaptives adjust to it. Then it's likely to cancel out, as it will watch the O2 sensors and adjust for the reading difference. Doing a run, then moving it and doing a run again without it retraining, just means a short term change that's likely to be calibrated out in closed loop mode.

Sure would be nice if it actually did make a difference that was permanent, but I doubt it unfortunately.

I did 3 pulls with my MSRT8, at 224 degrees water temp it was 369hp, at 210 degrees water temp it was 392hp, & at 203 degress water temp it was 383.92hp.

    that's with flowmasters and a K&N CAI.

I'm going to the dyno day in Orlando with other LX'ers and will install my 180* tstat beforehand. I want to see what it lays down with the engine temp below 200*.
