4 Door, 4 Thousand Pound Shootout

Well here it is guys. I just got off the phone with LJ from the Impalla forums and we have set a date on which we will be meeting the Impallas and other four thousand pound four door sedans at.
Where: Milan Dragway
When: June 8th 6:00pm-9:00pm
Cost: $50.00 Race as much as you want
$5.00 for spectators
All Four Sedans are invited as long as they are Four Thousand Pounds. This will include the Marauders, Impallas, Chrysler LX platform (300, Charger, Magnum), as well as the Cadillac cars.
This will be the first meeting of the Northern Four Thousand Pound Four Doors. There is another date in the works for later in the year. We hope that with these two events that we can turn this into a Northern HeavyWeight Shootout for next year. We are hoping for a big turnout for this event so we can grow on this next year.

I bet it will be a blast! LJ is a great guy and the MISSL guys are very active and generally put on great events. Quite a few VERY fast cars in that group. I wish I could get my car to run as well as most of their Winter Cars :grin: Its worth the trip from anywhere nearby to see some of the cars those guys have run.

Sounds like a lot of fun. I run with a '94 Impala SS with a Procharger D1-SC on it at the track. Its very fast. He lets out of it and runs low 12s at 100-105.

Guys if the Northern one is too far consider the Southern one in Georgia in early November, basically the same format, last year I don't recall any Mopar showing up.

These events are family friendly, well organized and a great deal of fun.
