300 SRT run 8.02 in 1/8 questions

when down to the track last night, and there was a 300SRT that ran an 8.02, 8.10 and 8.15 in the 1.8 mile

only got to talk to him for a few after he got his first slip.....asked what he had, he said heads and a cam........

i saw that he had on 18" rims on the back with slicks, and the corsa exhaust.........

as he sat there his car just shook like the muscel cars of yesterday.....sweet.......sounded mean goin down..


i guess my question is this....any educated quesses as to what he may of had done, runnin those times? i only saw his speed for the last run and it was just about 85-87 mph........


maybe if hes on here he can shed some light on the subject.......

Well like he said, cam, heads, exhaust, CAI and tune will get your there.

Mine has run 7.677@90.409 in the 1/8 on the quarter mile run listed in my sig.

Ghostface mag has a close 1/8 run in the time slip data base. So a guess ta ment for this guys quarter might have been close to ghostface's. 8.080@91.08 12.339@116.49

Gears would make it a lot easier/cheaper to get there!

I run 7.5? @92 mph , and that took a lot of track time, practice and 4 pairs of DR's in a year time.

I have run 8.100 at 84.85 in the 1/8 with 17" drag radials and stall convert B&G flash stage 2 and cold air. i didn't launch to hard cause it blows the tires away.

Sorta misleading as anybody could have ran ur time with a perfect DA.....

We have a couple guys in our group with jeeps that have cai, preditor tune and cat back exhaust and no headers that run 7.99 and (8.05 this 1 HAS B&G 2 TUNE ) in the 1/8 mile on street tires with the DA at 785 ft.
