    ELEVEN dollars per quart?

I know some establishments use the synthetics as a gouging tool, but geez...

    Question

They claimed Mobil 1 full synthetic was expensive. I told them they would not get to change my oil again. Is it possible that another dealer would charge less? Or are they all tied to some mystery pricing that says, "If an SRT product shows up at your shop, then the owner is stupid enough to pay just about anything"?

$100.00 every 3000 miles... That's a whole lotta AMSOIL stuff. Not that I'm pushing AMSOIL (I use it in everything I have). If you lived closer, I would change the oil for you over a 6 pack of Soda.
I guess they were right, TEXAS is BIG...

It pays to ask for a price up-front. I know synthetic is much more expensive. I payed 3.45 per quart for 5w20 but it was not synthetic. Seems like I payed between 6-7 per for Castrol synthetic before when doing my own oil changes. So 45 for oil, 15 for filter, 11 for labor. You payed a little too much
