    September 2011 LxOM: Hemi31

Well for starters, Thank you! Thank you for making me a two time LXOM!

It's been almost 5 years since the first time I was LXOM and that was a great feeling too. A lot has
happened since then. I have met so many people between the track and helping you guys and girls get your rides the way you want them. The last time I was LXOM I had just acquired my 06'Magnum SRT8.

That car has since been sold and went on to do some pretty big things with the current owner.

In Jan 2009 Trojan gave me the opportunity to pick up his beautiful 300c

....of course today you would never recognize it as that car.

BFNY has became a bit more than a hobby thanks to you all. I have had a few involved builds as well as a couple hundred cam/head installs. I have been involved in a lot of the cars you see at the track all the time, had a hand in a few record setting rides and been generally happy to put smiles on your faces when you hit the gas.

Last but not least is the girl I love.

Wendy has gotten me to travel to more M&G's up and down the east coast then I ever would have attended on my own. From Indy to Niagara and even driving to Florida to race for a day.
Wendy has been a major influence....not to mention she can drive the wheels off her car so that keeps the competitive side of me going.

In short I have to thank everyone, without you guys I wouldn't have left my small corner of NY to enjoys the things I do now.

You don't have to burn books to destroy a culture, just get people to stop reading them.

Way to go Erik. Well deserved.

I'd add that you've had some involvement in many more cars than just the ones you've touched......

Great write-up, bud. I will second Nick's notion that a lot more people enjoy these cars thanks to your help besides just the ones you physically work on. Hell, I never in a million years thought I would have gone down the performance road that I have with my car, but you've had a big impact on that and I am forever thankful.

This forum is a better place because of people like you and Cam and I think I speak for many in that we are lucky to have you guys around. LXOM is just one way for the rest of us to say "Thank You" for no specific reason at all.

Congrats again buddy. Looking forward to what you've got in store next for the 300!
