January 2010 LXOM: FlyByU

Well heck, how in the world did this happen, lol.

My goofball buddy Doug/PACharger is the root of all this silly stuff and I need to remind myself to poke him in the eye next time I see him

Super kind of everyone to think I’m worthy of LXOM and of course even more of surprise considering the other nominee's.

I cannot imagine a better online community than the one we have here at LXForums. Sure, we have our little online personality conflicts and cross forum feuding, but hey, we do have a membership of over 31,000. We are bound to have some fallouts and miscommunications.

I’ve said this before and Ill say it again, we have a great bunch of FRIENDS here and I’m proud to be part of it. I was fortunate enough to have some FRIENDS come to my rescue recently. As many mechanical failures as we've seen on the boards, I was fortunate enough to not have one for the past 3 and a half years. Well that is until recently

I received an enormous amount of support from members and vendors when I broke my motor. If I would have blown up my car not being a member here, no doubt I would have been on my own to deal with it. I was up and running in no time with the help of LXForums, its members and vendors. Life is good

Heck, I broke again at the track a month later and another LXForums member got me a tow and another vendor got me fixed up in no time flat. Totally amazing stuff and I challenge any other forum to get close to what we have here.

The list is long, too long of who I'd like to mention. Rather than do that, Ill just tell you all that we are lucky to have this silly internet site as a source of information and friendship. 2010 is going to be great.

I've been in hibernation mode lately so I have not been too frequent on the forums.

I just lucked out finding this thread.

Hopefully I'll be back up & running come the spring ATCO rental. (We are going to have another ATCO rental right?)
