I can’t begin to thank you all enough. Being voted LXOM means so much to me, knowing it came from you.



I have read all of the past LXOM entries and they are all brimming with wonderful things. Some have shared their past, their automotive history, their family life, wonderful pictures, and in essence, a little bit of themselves.

Soon after the Magnum was introduced, I knew that I absolutely had to have one. Some time later I searched dealers’ inventories and located the one I wanted. A Brilliant Black Magnum RT AWD. I had owned FWD and RWD cars before, but never an AWD. That was the whole rationale behind that decision “I wanted one”. I truly love this car, and that has not changed since the first time I got in.

For my acceptance of LXOM all I have to say is:

I have never before been the member of an automotive forum, nor have I sought out to meet others who shared in my love for a particular automobile.
Then I joined LXForums.com

Right before taking delivery of my Magnum, I decided to do a little research on the internet about the car, and I was directed to dodgemagnum.net, now lxforums.com
I read a few posts, and learned so much in such a short time, I decided to join and make my first newbie post a couple of weeks after I got the car, and could lurk no more.
I was welcomed into the community with open arms. The obvious sense of “family” abounded in the posts that I had already read and the many since.

Now I can look back at April 2005, and honestly say that this car, and this group has changed my life.
I will not be naming anyone in particular, for fear of missing someone, that would be most upsetting, but I have met, and communicated with so many truly incredible people here that have taught me so much, inspired me, and have become true friends.
Like most people, I have many acquaintances, but true friends I could count on the fingers of one hand.
Thanks to my LX and LXForums.com the other hand is now filling up. People with whom I have, and know will continue to have as lifelong friends.

I have witnessed and been part of amazing displays of camaraderie, passion, thoughtfulness, charity, and actions that show true human spirit and a genuine sense of “community” through the pages of LXForums.com and all of you.
I am truly honoured, and very proud to be among such an exceptional group of people.

Now, over 2 years later, the friendships that have been made continue to grow. Many of you have enriched my life more than you could possibly know. Without this place, it is most unlikely that I would have ever met any of you, and for that I am thankful.
You have made me into a better person, through your words and actions, and the examples you set.
The true fun and enjoyment I have had, and continue to have is a testament to all of the wonderful people of LXForums.com.
The dozens of meets, hundreds of pictures, thousands of dollars spent on mods, tens of thousands of members, over a million posts, and too many coats of Zaino to count just make me happier to be one of you.

If some of you who haven’t posted in a while are reading this, chime in. For the newbies who have recently joined, welcome, and to those who are lurking and not yet made the plunge. Come in and join the family.
