Well everyone, believe it or not. I just don't have a clue what to say, so bare with me please while I ramble on some. After all, it's not the first time right.

My time here on the boards has provided a very interesting twist in my life. Ya see believe it or not I actually work a hell of a lot of hours................ya,ya,ya........I know.

Most folks work a couple grand worth of hours a year, I do 4-5 just for good measure and besides that, we must keep the wife accustomed to her life style now shouldn't we.

So all I'm getting at is that when and if I have time to enjoy myself it's mostly with immediate family and usually only a couple of weeks worth of days a year.

And then came the DAY!, yup that's right THE DAY!!. I lay claim to the term.......... "THE DAY!" , it is mine and I'm not sharing with nobody, no way.......nooooo how!.
The DAY when I bought this:

Yup, you got it. A fully loaded, every damn option (except roof rack thank goodness

) Inferno red RT Magnum. Oh sure I looked at the SRT's, hell they had just come out and all the local dealers were smacking everyone with the biiiiiig mark up. But me, ah heck no, I'm a smart guy right??......RIGHT??. I ain't paying no premium for a few extra ponies.......no sirey........I thunked just how much could it really cost to pump this motor up??. And besides that I'm only gonna run this wagon for a couple years and throw it away. So Mr. Dealer man, I'll take that 100K warranty while your at it..........yup, toss that in, I may need it. Now I have to add this in for good measure. During my quest to procure a new ride, my extremely intelligent and gorgeous wife says to me "Hey! are you sure???? you don't want an SRT??, get it now or I never wanna hear you complain about it." and of course my response was one of pure intelligence and prudent thought, "nope, this will be just fine honey".

AND THEN IT STARTED, A FATE WORSE THEN 10,000 MULES PULLING ON YOUR TESTICALS..........................THE MOD BUG BIT.

Oh it started out innocently enough. Every ride I have every had got rims and what nots right off the bat. So off on a quest for rims and tires, tint this baby, a grill and within a couple of days after purchase she was done. But wait, SEMA is next week.......hummmm, we can't go to SEMA with a stock exhaust..........nope not this guy, that's just not acceptable.

So in a flurry, on a hunt I go. And what do we find? ZOOMERS yes that's the ticket ZOOMERS!!. And what do I see listed in Ron's ad.

Well, the rest is history. Most of you have seen the transformation unfold like a rose unfolding it's soft and sensuous petals...............................no wait, that's gay, it's more like a coal miner digging his way out of a blown shaft.............yup that's it, dirty and grity just the way it should be damn-it!!. No sissy flower stuff here guys, it's man grim and sack sweat or nuttin for this ride.

But along the way my life changed for the better. What do I find here, community. Worth way more then 10% off, matter of fact it's more akin to VALUE.

Value in everything I've learned from each and every one of you.

Value in a rekindling of my "faith in human nature".

Value in what will be life long friendships that I feel honored to have. Some of whom I have yet to shake their hands or share a toast with.

I feel truly blessed to have been granted these things. I was taught to bring value to this world, never take, always give everything you have to offer. This forum and all involved have become one of the most positive influences in my life.

As a matter of fact. This forum allowed me to live out one of my life long dreams. Just like all young boys with a over abundance of testosterone, I always dreamed of building a badars street ride. So even though I have a few more steps to go with her. I was able to share a very special day with my son and dad recently. A day that I hope will leave a lasting impression in all three of our lives.

So I'm done now, just one more thing.

I really mean this from the very bottom of my retched and tainted soul. Thank you.

Congratulations, Cam! You've been a great pal since I met you at GIFO4 - before I was on the forums, in fact, I knew you were one of the guys really out there trying to figure it all out, and pushing these things further...

Working hard on making the 6-speed a reality, making that funky intake bench tester, always there with tools ready, and advice when it's needed... thanks for teaching what you learn, I've got a lotta respect for you, man, and you earned it. Not to mention showing us that you can, in fact, change the oil on these things...! Nice f'ing job on that.

So until the next time we're out there doing it, I just wanna say, I'm tuned in!

I will say, I got more information in one day off this website than I did in all others in over a month. The First day I signed up I became a Level 2 supporter because of the info I got in ONE day! About a year later that small donation has more than paid off. This place rocks & bravo to you fine sir.
