Angry What's Good To Take Egg Spot's Off

 LAst night sucked went to a buddy's house to chill for a bit. When I came out I noticed something on my driver side mirror, I thought someone spit on it no biggie, then I turn toward the back and saw about three eggs had hit the back quarter panel looked like someone had puked on it. Kept walking around the hood, the front windshield, some on the roof, and the back windshield as well. Good thing there was some dew on the car from being parked in the street. Went to the local car wash one of those do it yourself places at 11pm. I got most of it off I thought with the presure washer you know. I washed and looked I must have did this step 3 to 4 times and spent about $12 bucks and 45min. Woke up this mor to the spots on the quarter panel, doorjam were two eggs hit and some spots on the hood and roof. What's good to rubb these out with.

    thanks
    KIKI

Personally, I find using the face of the person who through the egg's will remove the spots.

No clue, I'm sure one of the body specialists here will know. That's harsh bro.

If they're white spots, they're probably chips in the paint. Eggshell impacting your car does usually damage the paint, believe it or not.

If you didn't get it off very soon, the protein in the egg probably has already eaten through the clearcoat into the paint & primer. We had that happen to a dealer we weredoing work for and we had to repaint almost 30 cars. Most of them being full refinishes. Good Luck!

I am 99% sure the egg has damaged your clearcoat, take it to a good body shop to look at to ensure it has not gone through the clearcoat. However, if it has, make an insurance claim to get it repainted.

This happened to qzking before the last Hooter's get together. Although he got all the egg off, the shell scratched the hell out of the paint all the way through the color as I recall. Do you have that as well...

Attitudes are contagious. Mine might kill you.
