    VFN Fiberglass Six Pack Hood

I was in the neighborhood a few weeks ago and stopped by VFN Fiberglass, located in Addison, IL.. Just wanted to say that they are very friendly folks and considering doing business with them should not be worried about customer service or quality in their work. These guys appear to be fully staffed by helpful employees who are eager and willing to provide the best aftermarket hoods available for our cars.

Top notch, guys.. TOP NOTCH! Of course, I couldn't resist taking something home with me....

It's identical to that VFN Cuda hood underneath. I lack hood struts or a prop rod, so I didn't bother holding the hood up with one hand and taking pics with the other

They're designing a ram air set up for it to deliver air to the filter, but that's probably a few weeks out..

I'm going to be working on a trim panel for it, with some vents to blow air down over the heads, like the SRT ducts do, but I've got to get the other issues with the repairs taken care of first.

That looks awesome. Can't go wrong with a classic six pack hood look. The fit looks great, did you have to do a lot of prep before paint? Can you get one that is not functional?

It took some prep, but didn't look that bad to me..

The vents can be left uncut, yes..

The scoop looks way smaller than the original 6-pack hood....or am I crazy?

original 6 pack scoop was HUGE! remember the hoods on our cars are tiny compared to old school B body cars, so the scoop is probably scaled.

    Scoop Dimensions: 28" Long, 31" W, 4.5" H
Edit: forgot to say, it's looks really good!

I measured.. 3.25" tall, about 27" wide and something like 26" deep.. I'm glad it's as big as it is, anything more would be too much.
