SRT8 Interior all black conversion?

hey all!

last time i was at the dealer i got a chance to look inside the SRT8 Superbee version...and i notice the entire interior was black, like the door mouldings and such, i have a daytona and i have the black on top with grey on bottom interior

just wondering if anyone has done a conversion either by adding all the SRT8 plastics to make it all black, or dying their grey panels?

i love the all black look and am totally obsessed with keeping my interior clean and it seems the grey shows black scuffs constantly and such...just curious

Of course you could order the new panels (assuming they're available)... but I want to say that yes, somebody did dye everything black. I think they used a Duplicolor product... hopefully they'll see this thread. For something like the headliner, you're better off just getting it redone in black cloth than trying to dye it.

oh crap, didn't even think about the headliner...proably too expensive to do everything than

Nah, you can probably get that recovered for a couple hundred. I'd definitely recommend doing it in stages... door panels first, then the lower dash, then the other lower trim, then the pillars, then the headliner... spread it out over a year or something. I wish mine was black too :-(
