    Srt-8 exhaust

    2 part ? How much does a stock Srt-8 exhaust cost? And what kind of gains would one get if they put it on a 5.7? Pros/Cons.....

    i was trying to give mine away, couldn't find anyone to take it... you'll get better flow, but you need a welded adapter so figure a few bucks for that

    I hear ya, the guy next door wants to sell his for $$350.00, I wish he was giving it away, but I figure I would see what kinda Pros/Cons were out there before I do anything.

    I'll have one available in about a week... I'd give it to you for shipping cost, but I'm not sure it would be worth that...

    Keep in mind too, that the SRT systems are not tuned to deal with MDS mode, as R/T systems are. You may very well see some gain, but MDS may get a bit obnoxious...

    You should think about PM'ing PowerWagon896 on this topic - IIRC, he did this...

    I did this and I love it.The size looks the same as a JBA header.The midpipes are 2.75.The JBA mids are 2.5.

    I'm thinking you might actually lose some numbers by going to a bigger pipe. I'm sure at some point the guys that know for sure will chime in.

    Bigger isn't always better. But if you do end up doing the change, how about dyno runs before and after? I'd do high-flow cats first myself.
