It's not sad at all, I had to look around before figuring out how to do mine when 1 came unplugged.
You can either remove the rivets from the splash shield in the wheel well & reach your hand inside there to change it, or you can remove the front belly pan & reach up to get at it. If you reach in theough the wheel well, make sure you have fasteners to replace the christmas tree type rivets that are in a few of the holes, you can find some at an auto parts store to use, or look at northlandfasteners.com to find some that will work.
It was simple to go in through the wheel wells but like he said you will need to buy new pushpins
I just replaced mine with Silverstars along with the low beams. I did my Dayona grill a while ago and had the facia off and replaced those rivets already. I used the one with a screw that you use to tighten it up and just unscrew to loosen it. Took like 3-4 mins total to do both.
