Some '09 Charger info...

Seems the '09 Charger will have a few changes... some known ( tailights/370 h.p. vvt HEMI) and some new info, looks like there will be 2 colors for the Super Bee this year, HEMI Orange in the fall( part of a special "buzz edition") and Briliant Black in the spring... rumored to have yellow decals... The Daytona R/T looks to be gone, and with the tepid reaction the Hemi Orange Daytona has received, not surprising... this flies in the face of the Info I was given by my insider, that there would be a very limited number of Daytonas ( around 500) in Panther Pink, with some donations from the sale of the vehicles going to the Susan G. Koman foundation for Brest Cancer awareness and 1000 or so B5 blue...All SRT-8 Chargers are getting revised suspension calibrations based on the Challenger specs... it is unclear what this means to overall handling...

Too bad about the Panther Pink Daytona. They should reconsider. It seems like a good PR move to enlist some additional female interest in Mopar vehicles.

Keeping the Super Bee energized with more colors seems a good marketing move.

I'd like to hear more about the revised suspension changes. It'd be great if we can upgrade the current LX's suspension to Challey specs to improved handling.

I'd buy the panther pink Daytona if I was in the market for a 5.7, absolutely no question. That is THE Mopar muscle color as far as I'm concerned.

youve got to have a serious set of stones to drive a pink car. plus the PR of money going to breast cancer foundations is a huge thing. a tax write off to chrysler too. i dont see why they wouldn't do that. the charger has the attitude to pull of strong colours.

My gf is gonna drool all over that pink Daytona whenever we see it on the streets, she might even trade in her Accord for one, espacially knowing that a certain % of the sale is going to the Breast Cancer Foundation, her mom was went thru that whole ordeal already (Cancer, radiation, chemo).
I can't wait to see that black Superbee with the yellow decals!
