    shift knob

    any1 know how the stock shift knob is removed on my se charger? {auto}
    i dont see any set screws there and i dont want to force it. found a nifty razzo one i would like to replace it with.

    Unscrew it. Twist the handle and off she goes.

    lefty loosey.....I felt dumb when I called Redinorange with the same question...but not as dumb as my GM service tech brother who stared at that dumb thing like a monkey doing a math problem for 10 minutes...

    Same here. It would have been nice to know there is glue holding the threads tight so its real difficult the first time. But once it comes off, it goes on and comes off easier.

    BTW, now that its getting warm out side, I can finally make my own custom knob...
