    Question Road & Track Suspension

Has anyone installed a Daytona Road & Track suspension on a RT LX? I just got done putting in the springs and Nivomats in the rear of my Magnum and it looks like it dropped it a little? Does anyone know if this is just me or it truely is lower than stock on the Magnum? Also want to find out if there is any difference in the font suspension of the R&T vs a regular R/T. Does it sit lower? Just wanting to find out if I should go through the head ache of doing the swap if I am not gonna get anything out of it.

Did the install at the same time as my sway bars went in, so it was easy because I was already doing what was needed to get the sways in. The front however with probably end up costing me cause of the spring compressing.

So if anyone can take a measurement for me that would be great. How far up from the groud is the rear fender using the center of the wheel to get the height. And the same for the front. Thanks!

Hey American Muscle, I got me a 4 day old Charger R&T.
What measurments do you need? I'll go out and get a measurement for you. You want me to measure from the center of my wheel to the fender?
Ps. You can rent a spring compressor free of charge from any Kragen or autozone. Make sure you get the external type.
When I lowered my magnum the fronts were easier than the rears

    I like it RT...

Well- glad no one was injured RT. But I gotta say, I like the new black Charger. Got a chrome grill like mine.

Also, RT, I think American Muscle needs the measurement from the GROUND to the center of the wheel? NOT from the center of the wheel to the fender. Is that correct American Muscle?
Help out if you can! See this thread! http://www.lxforums.com/board/showth...190#post335190

    MangoinTX -No Mango Magnums

Tridom -I dont think he means from the ground to the center of the wheel. That wouldnt have anything to do with the suspension. Now that I think about it, he must mean from the center of the wheel to the fender. That would give you a measurement where different wheel size wouldnt make a difference.
I will have to do it tonight when I get home from work

I believe AM wanted measurements (Front and Rear) from ground to Fender (using center of wheel as a horizontal reference point).

From the wheel center to fender should work as well to see what the drop was.

Actually I want it to the fender. Trying to determine if it sits lower than the Mag. I stopped by a dealership today and parked right next to another Mag RT and my back is definitely sitting lower. Thanks RTracer!!

But this also sounds like a good measurement to have. If you wouldn't mind getting me both.
Do you think the cars settle some? Might have to consider that with the measurements as well.
