Remote Start Problem

Hi Guys, would need your help on something.

On my charger, the remote start has poor range. Sometimes i can be 10 feet away & it will not start, sometimes i can be 30-40 feet away & works fine.

Usually when this happens, i cannot unlock my door & have to manually unlock it.

Does this sound like a antenna problem? If this helps, i had the problem since i bought the car. I took it to the dealer & said it's working fine, they updated the software just in case(This is what they told me). Also, this problem I'm experiencing is random.

Any idea's on what it can be?

Try getting a new battery for the remote and also putting the remote to your chin while you press the buttons. You'd be surprised how much you can extend you range this way.
