Yes, this looks like my 07 RT with R&T option. The 06 have the black pocket wheels, SRT seats, SRT intake filter, better exhaust.

Looks like it has aftermarket tail lights.

That is a good base car to start modding. LOL

Those are stock ones, changed after '08 to those.

Road and Track package is def worth it! My car is basically a black (daytona without vinyl), low key like stated earlier in the thread.

Haha, no kidding! That thing is FILTHY! My beater Jeep is cleaner inside than that thing.

Great looking car though.... I love those wheels. I'd have to look for a set if I were to get that '06 I posted. And maybe black out the grille and add the R/T badges. Although doing that kinda kills the sleeper aspect of it.

I was actually wondering about the tails myself, I didn't think they were stock either.

So you mean that those are '08 and up tails swapped in?

And I really like the look of that car, and LOVE the interior!

I'm torn right now...I really love the look of the 300C, right now it's a tossup between the two. It might all come down to mileage/price, unless one drives different than the other. I think I like the exterior of the 300 better, but the R&T interior better.

I plan on driving both, but I'd image it's safe to assume that the R/T R&T (yeah, that's NOT confusing, lol) is going to ride a bit firmer and handle better than a 300C?

Those are definitely aftermarket tail lights. The '09+ version is still red like the earlier ones except the backup light area is different.

Anyone know if there's a certain digit in the VIN or an RPO code for R&T?
The '06 R&T's were stealth Daytona's. There are very few external cues that indicate it has the R&T package (code AWT). That pkg also only cost ~$1600 in 2006 but doubled in price for the '07's. The full leather shifter knob is one of the subtle features of the R&T. The SRT's didn't even have that. The black pocket rims were the same as the Daytona's along with the Michelin MXM4 235/55R18 tires. That was the OEM size and you can verify that on the driver's door tire sticker. The R&T's also have the "9-land" rack-n-pinion steering like the Daytona's which has a firmer feel than a regular R/T. The rear spoiler was NOT an R&T feature in 2006 and therefore is an aftermarket addon.

Regarding the VIN digit - there is not a digit that signifies the car has the R&T pkg. You have to get the build sheet info if the car features have been altered or removed. This one in the ad, however, has all of the specific options included in the AWT package. Don't tell the sales person this since they may not be aware of the hidden gem you've found.

It sounds like you need to find an "SRT Design" 300C. It is the Chrysler Road & Track variant of the 300C.

Ah, thanks for the info. Actually, thanks to what I've learned here I've already spotted a fake R&T. It's a Silver 06 RT with '07 R&T wheels and badges on it, plus black Daytona style stripes and hood graphics that say "HEMI". The interior is telling, it has the regular seats and no leather covered shift knob.

It'a actually a great looking car though. It has 71k and they want 14k for it. It actually looks better than the '06 R&T I posted, but I don't like the idea of a fake. Plus it's not as loaded as the 06, it doesn't have nav or sunroof.

I rather have the real R&T to get the suspension and other goodies that you don't see.

Never heard of an SRT Design 300C....or you just mean the 300C SRT8 variant? In that case, yeah, I'd love to get my hands on one of those!

I was looking at some modded Charger pics on another forum, wow do these look great modded!

You should be able to find a csrt8 for the low 20k's. (Depends on your local market though)

Yeah, I actually saw one on CL the other day...it was an '06 for 22 and change. Forget the miles though.

They're nice, but that's more than I want to spend.

Here is a Youtube video of an '07 300C SRT Design. The video has good details about the car's optional package.
