    Preview of the Charger doors?

I was digging through old concept pictures and found this pic of the Super Hemi 8....think this is how the Charger doors will be?

This concept was, after all....the design direction for the LXs....

    Possible.

I look more to the Mazda RX8 as the styling cue DC will take with the rear doors. Smaller openings that maintain the sports couple look of the vehicle.

Too much door and it'll just be another sedan.

Hmmmm.....possibly. But in order to make a much smaller rear door viable (which judging by the pic...it is smaller then the front), they would have to go with a smaller wheelbase I would think.

The question is....Is the Charger going to be a smaller wheelbase LX?

Airflite = Fastback = Short Wheelbase
= small, suicide style rear doors.

By jove, I think we've got it.

Yay!! You're the first people to see it, the Airflite is the Charger (kinda)!!

In a way, the Airflite was our preview of the Charger. I said this last summer, but no one seemed to believe me... 8)

I just hope the Airflite wasnt too much of a Charger preview...... not the best looking Chrysler concept in recent years, IMO.

    Airflite Concept

With all the talk of the Airflite / Charger. I thought I'd post up some pics of the Airlfite concept to refresh everyone's memory.

I think these might be the best photos we have of the Charger so far:

Anthony, you could only see the top of the first pict in your post, I posted a new photo in its place.
