    Preditor tune question

I was changing some of my parameters and ran across two settings I'm not sure what to do with or what they do.Have 93 tune in it now, will any of these two increase performance?

    1-WOT gas
    2-WOT spark

Not being a smart ass, but....

It depends. Have you done any data logging?

Your best bet is to get a custom tune, if you don't know what those parameters do.

    They aren't all that expensive.

There are plenty of people that do email tunes. Johan comes to mind, he's done mine.

I actually saw that too the other day when I was tuning my car, I would like to know that those settings are as well.

Do not mess with them unless you log your runs and plan to go back to your baseline at the end of the day. I got in a rush one time leaving the track and forgot to do that. A couple of days later I could not figure out why the car seemed to be down on power. I remembered I had left a bunch of timing in from the track (I had mixed in some race gas) and that was causing some knock. Lucky I did not do any damage. There are storys of people blowing engines early in the Predator days from messing with those and not knowing what they are doing.

WOT Gas will add or subtract gas at Wide Open Throttle (WOT) +/-
WOT Spark will advance or retard timing at Wide Open Throttle (WOT) +/-

As others have suggested, don't mess with them. You could cause some serious problems if you don't know what your doing. The canned tunes are fine for most drivers and if you get into anything further performance wise, IE supercharger, turbo, performance cam etc. just take it to someone to have it tuned for you or have a email tune done. If your worried about knock in your engine, do some data logging to see where your at. If your getting LTR (Long Term Knock) then you might want to try switching tunes depending on the gas your running. So for example, you run 93 oct gas and 93 oct tune and your getting LTR knock. Your choices are, load up the 91 oct tune and data log again or get a custom tune. I'd hate to see anyone ruin their motor.
