    Is this possible?

There is a gas station I go to, and I try to avoid this one attendant. Why? Cause when I drove up last year in my Magnum, he wouldn't shut up about how UGLY these cars were, and blah blah blah. Yeah, he was a real a**hole.
ANYWAY, of course he had to be my attendant today. (He doesn't seem to remember me even though I go there alot), and he tells me his girlfriend, or friends girlfriend (probably more like it what girl would want him) anyway, she got a Charger SRT8. Tells me she paid $70,000 for it. I just gave him a wierd look, (cause the less I say to him the better). Are some of them that much money? I didn't think so.

    Not sure but . . .

    Retail: about $35,320.00
    Invoice: about $32,893.00

Plus extras of course . . . but, then again, I don't have one (so I'm no expert)

IIRC, it's against the law the law to pump your own gas in Jersey...

Hopefully it has this kind of paint job. That might justify the price.

I think NJ and Oregon are the only two states that have gas attendents.

The Magnum has a soul. It has a personality, something all too lacking in the automotive transportation appliances everybody else is offering.

No, all states HAVE them. Those are the ones that REQUIRE them.

The attendant is giving you the right price, assuming they bought 2!
Ask me about my Lemon Dodge Charger. Last time in the shop was approx 41 days and it is still not fixed!

I had a girl at work make a comment about the fact that I was driving a $55,000 car. I told her it wasn't quite that much but never told her the price. Let them wonder.

    Talking $$$$$

My 2006 300C SRT-8 had a $47,895 MSRP. I ordered it 3/28/05 and agreed to pay $3k over sticker. Dealers were asking and getting $15k - $20k over sticker. With sales tax (8.1%) and 100,000 mile warranty and 60,000 mile tire and rim "Road Hazard" warranty, and 70,000 mile dealer service plan, and LoJack my car was a hair over $60k out the door.

If someone bought a fully loaded Charger SRT-8 and paid $15k - $20k over sticker (which does happen) then yes, it is possible to have a $70,000 Charger!

BTW: Compared to the $85k sticker, $100k out the door 745Li I was looking at, my car kicks ass in every way! I ordered my car sight unseen, having never seen an SRT-8. Looking back, if I had paid $15k - $20k over sticker, I would still think it was well worth it!

The Mango SRT8 is the most expensive Charger I know of.

I was at a local dealer two days ago... Red Charger SRT8 loaded at $4K over list. I asked...you guy's Nuts? Dealer said they are getting $4k over list easy. Month's ago I saw 300 SRT at $10K over list... I love my RT, but wouldn't pay over list...
