    Naked Mango w/new hood

    The day finally arrived. Yellow pulled in town with my RAM Air Hood.

    Inspected the box signed the paperwork and the fun began. Unpacked the hook and got all the tape off. It has one small blemish, will post pic of that tomorrow when there is better lighting for pic. Overall not bad.

    Took off the old hood after disassembling the squirters. Just hate those pop-rivets!

    W/GF help, installed the new hood and hooked up the new squirters. Wasn’t impressed with the new squirters. The hole on the new hood didn’t leave enough room to install the holding nut underneath. Their nutless, I hope they stay put w/o. There was one what may be sheet metal retainer (not sure what to call it). I’ll look into that later.

    Anyhew the install went smooth. I had to run and pickup the kiddo so didn’t have time to tweak, I have more space on the left than right. This will also wait, will adjust this weekend. Nothing is rubbing now so it’s safe.

    LOOKS SCHWEEEET!!!!! Damn I want one for my Mag!!!! THen again...I might just trade in the Mag for the CHarger.....

    Once the airbox for the hood comes in I'll redirect the 4" duct comming from the front shroud going to airbox and point it to the headers and put another on the passenger side. Trying to get a cool solution for the upcomming TX summer

    I tried to upload full pics to the gallery and couldn't. Didn't have permission. What do I have to do to upload there. Help!

    Me thinks you need to upgrade your membership here. Go to User CP, look for Subsciptions, donate a little loose change and WHA LA... you can post pics there!

    At least I think thats how it works, I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong... thats why this is such a nice place.. so much help

    Front fits great. It's off a little on the side. The gap is bigger on the passanger side (the whole length). Also it up a little on driver side back corner, it looks like there's an adjusting bolt there for height. I'll spend time adjusting this weekend. Nothing's rubbing and after tweaking it should be just right.
