On the matter of air intakes, without knowing anything I bought a K&N CAI for my car, and have since noticed -- since reading this forum -- that I'm the only one in the country running the K&N brand. I'm ready for the hard truth if someone can tell me the reason why no one else runs a K&N. I've heard that some CAIs don't add any power. And, while you're at it, so that I don't make another potential mistake, is there a "preferred and proven" spark plug brand/model/plug-gap for a 2007 5.7? And I might as well ask if anyone knows the Auto Zone parts number for the 180 t-stat for this car. I tried to explain to them what I wanted but, understandably, the could only tell me which ones the computer said were right for the car.

i hear with the k&n your mainly just paying for the name. Im running an aFe stage 2 in my car and i wouldn't want any other intake under my hood. I love it!
