    LED Interior Lighting

I own a 2009 Dodge Charger R/T. The illumination around the cupholders/ radio etc is an aqua green. I am trying to find this exact match of a color so i can put lights down by the feet in the front/back. Any ideas on where i might get the color closest to this one?

    Please respond ASAP. Thanks!!

The color is the standard color emmitted from any electroluminescent light. You may have seen night lights that plug into 120 volt wall outlets that produce the same exact color. One might be able to rip the transformer out of the 120 volt ones, try them on 12 vdc and see if they work. If they work at a lower voltage, a resister would work (trial and error). As for the size of the resistor in wattage, I believe they all use less than a watt. If hidden away under the dash, you could use some black paint to disguise the housing and presto!

The radio, and climate control are both running INCANDESCENT bulbs with blue/green rubber boots on them.

Only the gauge cluster is electroluminescent.

You might be able to find an LED array that is blue/green, and matches the dash, but good luck with that...

I bought some bright LEDs (5600mcd) the other day from my local electronics parts place. They are Turquoise in color and match perfect. They are cheap too, like $2 for three. The Brand is NTE and the part number is 30127. Just make sure to use resistors because these are 3.2v.
