Killed a Cobra Today and its gonna cost me.

OK so i'm driving down the NJ Turnpike about 12:30-1:00 PM,I'm in the fast lane,minding my own business,and a Mustang Cobra,flies up on my rear bumper,i got cars in front of me so he's gonna have to wait.Heading south,just before exit 11,traffic is moving right (Exit11 is a main exit to the Garden State Pkwy.).I see nothing but road in front of me(Going 70 now) and slam it,i got say i thought the cobra had a set,the distance kept getting wider and wider(Hit 125 then i was maxed out UGH).so i get to the next cluster of traffic after,he pulls up next to me looks at me gives me a WOW and Thumbs up.Thats at about Exit 10 maybe a little past it.Well i get to my exit at 9 and heres a Trooper pulling me over,sceaming about how he clocked me at exit 11 doing 100,(Thank god he wasn't up the road a little more and got me doing 125)and he knows i was going faster because it took him to exits to catch up to me.LOL.I get the lecture and a ticket for going 74 in a 65,and a ticket for my air freshiner on my mirror.He was cool kinda,he did give me a break on the speed. The tickets could have been worse,I got a Class A DL,it would've hurt.

Scratch one cobra.............

lol...good one....I got a ticket for the airfreshner once as well

...this happened in long island...officer was very cool

If it wasn't radar, it is pretty hard to say what speed you were traveling. You might have the ability to fight it. Meister was saying that since radar, they don't give speed estimate training any longer (he is fighting his ticket since it was an estimate.)

Obstructed view.

In a lot of states (including Minnesota) you are not supposed to have anything hanging from the rear view mirror.

I know in NY and I guess now in Jersey...if you have airfreshner hanging from rearview....it's worth a ticket for 'obstruction of view"....not a moving violation...it's another way for the cool officers to substantiate pulling you over....

Yeah its for obstructed view,instead of giving me a ticket with points i get the extra one for Cash only i guess.30 bucks for a vanilla tree LOL

I guess I'll have to cancel my order for fuzzy dice. You really can't hang them anywhere except from the rear view mirror.

Damn...you guys are driving new cars WTF do you wanna stank it up wiff a air freshener anyway and why would you hang it on the mirror...IF I was gonna have one in the car it wouldn't be where it could be seen....

I like the smell of Zaino leather conditioner....it's like a new car smell crossed with leather.
